South Dakota Christmas Lights Show – Let It Go

There are times when you have a Christmas tradition that may have been passed down from one generation to the next. For example, going down on Christmas morning together to open the gifts or getting together with the extended family for a meal is something that many of us appreciate about December 25. There are also times when you start a new tradition and it just grows quickly.

That was the case with this Christmas light show, one that is put on at a residential home but one that is unbelievable in its beauty. It started back in 2006 and it is so amazing that people will stand in line for hours just to watch it. They even relocated the show when the family decided to move and many people would travel longer distances just to see it every year.

This show it put to music from the Disney film, Frozen. It uses the popular song, Let it Go and it does a good job of putting everything together. Not only do people appreciate the efforts of the family who puts on this show, they have also been able to raise about $25,000 every year for the Make a Wish Foundation.
